Economy Minister Simon Hamilton has reinforced his focus on providing employment opportunities for graduates by launching the fifth Alexander Mann Solutions Recruitment Academy.
This academy builds on the success of the previous four by providing 30 graduates with the skills and experience required to take up further opportunities being created by Alexander Mann Solutions in recruitment skills and candidate sourcing techniques.
Minister Hamilton said: “To date, 60 graduates have entered employment through previous Academies. The investment of Alexander Mann in this fifth Academy highlights the talent we have within Northern Ireland and our ability to attract high quality employers and provide them with the skills they need to grow their business.”
Participants should be Higher National Diploma or degree graduates from any discipline, and will receive an intensive six week training programme delivered jointly by Alexander Mann Solutions and Belfast Met. Successful participants will also gain an industry-recognised qualification and will be interviewed for a position with the company.
Jeff Owen, Head of UK Global Client Service Centres at Alexander Mann Solutions commented: “Our people are the foundation of our success here at Alexander Mann Solution and in Belfast we continue to build on this foundation through our Recruitment Academy. The 4 programmes we have run to date have demonstrated a high quality of calibre in the local market and have spurred us on to run a further Academy in 2016, after which we will be in a position to offer further exciting opportunities locally that support our clients in both Europe and America.”
Applications to the Academy will close on Thursday 28 July at 4pm and the training programme for successful applicants will start on Monday 5 September 2016.
