Consultation description
The purpose of this consultation is to consider the options for disability support provided to young people accessing DfE ELL1 provision.
This proposal has been developed following a review of current provision and engagement with stakeholders. The department hosted a range of workshops with stakeholders – including training providers and FE colleges, currently delivering Skills for Life and Work (SfLW.) Separate workshops were held with representatives of the disability sector to provide them with background on the SfLW programme and seek their views on the proposal.
DfE welcomes your views on the proposal by responding to the questions contained in the online survey.
The consultation opened on 19 July 2024. An addendum to this consultation and an updated privacy notice was published on 2 September 2024 and the closing date was extended to 18 October 2024 at 5:00pm.
