Existing Policy and a Revision of– The Education (Student Support) (No.2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009/373 (The Student Support Regulations)

The Student Support Regulations provide for support for students undertaking designated higher education courses.The Regulations set out the rules for matters on:personal eligibilitycourse eligibilityas well as the assessment methodology and different rates that apply for different student support products including:fee loansmaintenance loansvarious grant products.Also amending regulations are made annually to incorporate fee rate changes and any other changes required. Each set of amending regulations is screened individually.
